Brahma Sarovar is a sacred water pool in Thanesar, Kurukshetra that attracts a lot of tourists, visitors and devotees every day towards its beautiful evening Maha Aarti that is performed daily around the beautiful glowing gorgeous lake side in front of the Mahadev temple that is situated within the Brahma Sarovar lake. Brahma Sarovar is considered to be a divine and a sacred place by Hindus and is genuinely awesome.
The below video is a small Maha Aarti video glimpse of the beautiful aarti at Brahma Sarovar, Kurukshetra. I personally got an opportunity to visit the place recently and I found that the Maha Aarti was something that can blow off your hearts. It was simply amazing. Kurukshetra is considered to be sacred itself because it is the Mahabharat City Kuruksehtra. Brahma Sarovar is one of Asia's biggest Sarovar. The Maha Aarti is performed on the banks of brahma sarovar daily in the evening during the sunset time. It includes the Om Jai Jagadish Hare aarti, the matra chanting and Kurukshetra Maha Aarti. Loads of people and devotees gather here daily to attend this divine and beautiful pleasant aarti.
Geeta Jayanti festival is organized once in every year on this Brahma Sarovar premises. Lots of people gather here to take privilege of the Geeta Jayanti Fair or Mela. Unlike the Maha Aarti performed on the holy banks of river Ganga in Haridwar, devotees even are able to have a glimpse of the similar pattern Maha Aarti at Brahma Sarovar Lake located in Kurukshetra district of Haryana.
Holi - the festival of colors is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fun all throughout the country. Colors are something that lights up the entire environment with love and fragrance. Sukhna lake is really a calm and a peaceful place to spend your holiday, weekend or engagements.It is a well maintained lake that is clean and beautiful. You would be able to view several aquatic birds in the lake. Further, sukhna lake is a home to many beautiful migratory birds. Paddle boats and motor boats are available for daily public and tourist rides. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory to board or ride these boats. The jackets would be provided by them after you show your boat ride tickets.
It is a beautiful experience to rejoice and relax at this awesome lake. Yes, yes, yes you are right, it is a real aeroplane, a real aircraft that is parked here and is now open for common public for fine dining. This beautiful real airbus, located in Ambala and New Delhi is an actual aircraft that has been turned into a fine dining restaurant and is now named as Runway 1.
Well, let me tell you, Runway 1 is the name of a beautiful restaurant that has been opened inside an unused aircraft. It was junked by Air India and then lately turned into an eatery, a fine dining restaurant. Yes it is actually a real aircraft but it is no more functioning as travels. It has been converted into a restaurant. It is a beautiful invention must say. And this beautiful invention is worth exploring.
The Runway 1 aeroplane restaurant is parked on the following two locations:
- National Highway (NH1) Ambala Kurukshetra stretch, Ambala, Hayana
- Rohini Adevnture Island, New Delhi, India
So, if you have got bored up with your regular restaurant dining then don't miss out to explore this lovely aeroplane restaurant, head towards these real aircraft and get that real feel of on-boarding, check-ins and seating in any beautiful flight or aeroplane. Get a totally different experience all together. Come lets get into the restaurant and check out its ambiance, food and experience. Recently I got a chance to visit this Runway 1 aeroplane restaurant located in Ambala and I really loved the whole aeroplane theme and structure.
The look and feel from inside as well as from outside was awesome and really gives you a feel as if you are actually boarding some flight. Runway 1 is a real aeroplane that has been turned into a fine dining eatery, a beautiful restaurant. Recently we went there and we really loved the whole experience of this aeroplane restaurant. It is located in Ambala Kurukshetra NH1 and also in Rohini Adventure Island New Delhi India. I loved this experience so much that I thought of sharing this experience with my audience through my blogs and videos. So I recorded few things there, compiled, and prepared a short but detailed video regarding this Runway 1 aeroplane restaurant, its menu, food, boarding, seating, tickets, DJ, play areas, parking and many more. After watching the video you must have got the real idea as to how the actual experience of this restaurant is. Wasn't it like a real aeroplane experience? Seriously the runway and the parked real aircraft was amazing.
Before we board this flight, the Runway 1 aeroplane restaurant, we need to take our tickets from the counter and collect our boarding passes. Similar to boarding any flight, we need to show our boarding passes here also to get permission to enter or board the aircraft restaurant. They charge Rs. 200/- per person for the boarding passes. This Rs. 200 gets adjusted in your food bills later on. You may either pre-book your seats through telephonic contact numbers available online, or book directly online through booking websites, or plan up a sudden hangout and book your tickets from the Runway 1 counter, anytime. It is a real fun experience.
The prices of their food were neither too high nor too low. We ordered man-chow soups, pahaadi chicken, grilled fish with lemon butter sauce, Beijing chilly chicken and some plain naan. And must say we loved each of these items. They were really fresh and yummy. I loved the way they presented the food on the table with real fire and decorations. You can see the presentation in my above video.
We went there to celebrate my Mom's birthday. We had taken a read velvet cake with us from outside, and the restaurant easily allowed us to cut the cake and even served us the cake slices in different quarter plates generously. The service of this restaurant was good. I personally didn't face any problem or complications here. Everything was smooth and pleasant. Light music was being played inside, the restaurant was fully lighted and also seemed neat and clean.
So why waste your money on bulky expensive flight tickets if you only wish to take a feel of the luxury aeroplane dining? Right??
Basant Panchami or Vasant Panchami marks the onset of the beautiful spring festival when we worship Goddess Saraswati who is considered to be the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Basant Panchami is a festival that reminds us of the arrival of the beautiful spring season. And we all celebrate Basant Panchami to welcome spring. Further, we also worship Goddess Saraswati on this day. Goddess Saraswati is considered to be the God of harvest and the spring. Worshiping her on this sacred day with sweets and flowers is considered significant and pure.
Basant Panchami or Saraswati puja is a cultural festival that is celebrated in India as well as in many other parts of the world like Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia and many more. On this day, many people dress up in yellow color dresses that signifies and marks the arrival of spring when the mustard fields bloom up with beautiful yellow mustard flowers. May the sunshine of this pretty yellow color bring light, love, happiness and peace in your lives. May the blessings of Maa Saraswati be showered on all of you. The day of Basant Panchami is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. Mata Saraswati is considered to be the Goddess of music and Goddess of wisdom. So this day, people worship Goddess Saraswati to be blessed with knowledge, intelligence, music and sweetness. Jai Maa Saraswati Namastute!
Mostly this festival is observed in the months of February where the dates may vary as per the annual calendars. Many of you here reading this blog must also be celebrating this festival in your own ways. I celebrate it by wearing a yellow dresses and by worshiping Maa Saraswati and worshiping my study books on this day. February is the month of hearts, the sweet hearts and chocolates unlike the sweet chocolate pie. So come try this recipe and spread your happiness all around with your dear ones.
It is February, the beautiful and the sweetest month of love, the month filled with hearts, roses, chocolates and celebrations all around the world with love ones together. So to make this valentine day more special and memorable, lets cook something loving that steals the heart of your loved ones once and forever. Let us try this recipe of chocolate pie, the sweet heart pies that is crunchy from outside and chocolaty from inside.
So now its time to win the heart of your sweetheart with these sweet heart pies. The chocolate filled pies molded in the beautiful shape of an heart is a must have for valentines. These are definitely a sure shot option to steal the heart of your loved ones. These sweet heart pies are filled and made with chocolaty love and affection. They are warm and crisp, they are sweet and soft. They are filled with a smooth creamy chocolaty filling of nutella that is really tempting and flaky. So why not try this sweet stuffed hearts this valentine. Surprise your love with a chocolaty heart. The golden brown edges of the pie, the falling sugar syrups, the mouthwatering nutella, oh doesn't it sound amazing?
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup melted ghee or butter
- approximately 1/2 cup cold milk
- 1/2 cup nutella chocolate spread
PREPARATION:
Step 1: Mix together atta, powdered sugar, salt, ghee and milk to make a quick dough. Use the milk slowly slowly as per the desired requirements for binding the dough completely.
Step 2: Once the dough is ready, divide it into two equal halves
Step 3: First roll one dough to about 3 mm thickness and cut different heart shapes from that with the help of a small heart shaped cookie cutter. I got around 6-7 heart pieces from one dough.
Step 4: Cut as many hearts as possible from the dough and repeat the process with the remaining dough as well.
Step 5: Add around 1/4 tsp of ready-made bottled nutella in the center of the heart and cover that filled heart with another heart cutout.
Step 6: Seal the prepared/filled hearts well all along the sides by pushing down with the help of your fingertips.
Step 7: Using a folk teeth, crimp the pushed sides to give a beautiful design to your sweet filled hearts.
Step 8: Grease the heart from both the sides and sprinkle enough powdered sugar on it.
Step 9: Grease a pan/kadhaai and bake the filled hearts on the lowest flame of your gas stove. Keep the pan covered with a tight lid throughout and maintain the gas flame to lowest.
Step 10: Once the edges turn golden brown, you may slowly flip the heart for half a more minute and then your hearts are ready to be served warm and crunchy.

During this week, each and every day carries a different significance and is celebrated differently such as to mark each day of the valentine week a special day to cherish the sweetest love and bonding. So this was a simple list of all the days during the valentine week as per their calendar dates. All of the special days mentioned above in the valentine week can easily be understood by their special names. However, let us get a quick insight about the special significance of these days as below:
ROSE DAY:
The first day of valentine week is the rose day. Roses, as we all know is a flower of love that spreads its sweet fragrance of redness to its surroundings. To start the week with a fresh note, a romantic mood, and a vibe of love and fragrance, people generally tend to start sharing roses with their loved ones to begin with the valentine week and gear up the week of love with fragrance. This day is significant for sharing beautiful colorful roses with the near and dear ones and cherish its lovely fragrance and freshness in their lives.
PROPOSE DAY:
The second day of valentine week is the propose day. This day is significant for those who are actually waiting for a day when they could find a special chance to lovingly propose their loved ones . So this day is for all of them. It is a chance for them to propose and cherish. On this day, in order to make it memorable, one can take their partner or their loved ones to a peaceful loving or a romantic place and offer the proposal, may be directly with a word or a sentence, or with some song or tunes, or with a precious ring.
CHOCOLATE DAY:
Third day of valentine week is the beautiful chocolate day that is my favorite one out of the entire bundle. Most of girls and boys love chocolates. Chocolate is something that is really sweet and loved by mostly everyone. It is one the sweetest thing that can actually be consumed and tasted, a great way to make your partner feel happy and sweet. On this day, people exchange sweets and chocolates with their near and dear ones and make the day a sweeter one to cherish.
TEDDY DAY:
Teddy day is the fourth day of this valentine week. Who doesn't love gifts. And teddies are something that are over too cute, soft, and hug-able. They really enlighten the space with cuteness and warmth. So on this day, people generally share or exchange teddies and teddy bears to spread their love and emotions.
PROMISE DAY:
Fifth day of the valentine week is the real promise day, the day when this week takes a serious turn and helps people get more closer with realities and emotions. On this day, people take oaths and promise to take care of each other and love them forever under every circumstances. Both of them make promises to each other for a healthier and a brighter trustworthy relationship of tomorrow that is strong and bonded. It can either be some new promise for a new tomorrow or a desired awaited promise that needed a chance, a special day to unlock.
HUG DAY:
Hug day is generally the sixth day of valentines week. Hugs are something that wraps up your love and emotions deeply into your soul and are entangled with love and care. On this day people generally hug their loved ones with a feeling and promise of togetherness. It is a feeling of love and an emotion of togetherness. A feeling that there is someone with you who will never let you down.
KISS DAY:
On the seventh day of valentines week comes the kiss day. It is final day of the week. Next day would be the special valentine day, a new tomorrow. On this day, on the kiss day people generally tend to get more closer and stronger with a bonded feeling of togetherness and love. Its a day to sweeten up your relationship with added care and emotions.
VALENTINE DAY:
The last but not the least, finally comes the much awaited valentine day. The final and last day of this special valentines week. Every year it is celebrated of 14th of February, across countries. This is the day when the wait is all over. The beautiful week comes to an end with a lovely valentines day. The tie to celebrate, the time to rejoice, the time to party, the time to exchange gifts, and most importantly love. Its the day of love!
Valentine week is all about love and celebrations. February is the month of love and February 7th to 14 is being celebrated as the special valentine week all throughout the world with great charm and happiness.
